This Rolex Datejust ref. 1600 is all about the color play!
The smooth yellow gold bezel and crown contrast the stainless steel Oyster case sharply. The two tones are drawn together by the taupe sunburst dial which is the perfect middle ground between the two metals. A very nice departure from more common Datejust configurations.
Other than that, all the vintage Datejust goodies are present. The dimensionality of the pie-pan dial, robust non-quickset movement and thick creamy tritium plots. If you are looking for a Datejust with a twist, this might be the one for you!
