Cartier Tank Americaine Ref. 2312 ‘Saudi’

Now and then we come across a watch that is not well known, this Cartier tank Americaine is a pretty good example of that. Not because it is a Tank Americain, but because of the logo on the dial, ‘The Saudi’. what exactly the occasion was why this Cartier has the logo on the dial, but what we know for sure that it is extremely rare. It has been recently serviced by the Maison the atelier from Cartier, so it comes with official service papers of Cartier.

The crest represents that prosperity can only be had through Justice. The palm is prosperity and the crossed swords represent Justice. The palm tree represents the Kingdom’s assets which are defined as its people, heritage, history, and resources natural and non-natural.

It is a rather ‘big’ size, but because of the curved case back, it falls elegantly on the wrist, very comfortable too. Made of 18k white gold with original buckle, the first owner was very honored to wear it and took good care of it. Watches with such a logo on the dial was often a gift for very special people. Personal friends, a group of businessmen, always limited editions. This Cartier is so rare that information is difficult to find, but we assure you it is all original, Cartier has authenticated by servicing it.
