Patek Philippe “Twenty-4” Ref.4910/10A-010 B+P+SP 2026

Patek Philippe launched the Twenty-4 with a rather fitting question: “Who will you be in the next 24 hours?” This 2006 example still makes a convincing case for keeping the options open.

The Ref. 4910/10A-010 belongs to the original cuff-style generation introduced in 1999 as Patek Philippe’s first collection created exclusively for women. Its gently curved rectangular case flows directly into the steel bracelet, creating a watch that wears more like a piece of jewellery than a conventional watch head on a strap.

Its so-called Eternal Gray dial is wonderfully calm. Roman numerals at twelve and six frame ten diamond hour markers, while the slim hands keep the display clean and composed. Two vertical rows containing 36 diamonds, approximately 0.45 carats in total, trace the case and emphasise its Art Deco geometry without taking over the design.

The integrated bracelet is every bit as important as the dial. Its polished steel links sit smoothly around the wrist and continue the watch’s cuff-like silhouette, finished with the original folding clasp. A sapphire cabochon in the crown adds one last, discreet touch of colour.

Inside is Patek Philippe’s quartz calibre E15. Quartz feels entirely at home here: slim, precise and practical, while allowing the architecture, diamonds and bracelet to remain the main event. This was designed as a Patek for every hour of the day, rather than one reserved for special occasions.

Complete with its original box and papers, as well as service papers from 2026, this Twenty-4 has everything that makes the early collection so distinctive: steel, diamonds, an integrated bracelet and a strong late-nineties design carried neatly into the new millennium. Available at Reestraat 3, Amsterdam.

All the way back in 1839, Franciszek Czapek and Antoni Patek founded Patek, Czapek & Cie. in Geneva. The two Polish watchmakers manufactured pocket watches until an argument drove them apart in 1845. Patek teamed up with French watchmaker Adrien Philippe and in 1851, Patek, Philippe & Cie. was officially registered and the story of arguably the finest of watch manufacturers was truly underway.

The company would amass an impressive array of firsts and records. Among which the first perpetual calendar pocket watch, first split-second chronograph wristwatch, first perpetual calendar wristwatch and for twenty-seven years they held the record for most complicated watch movement: 33 complications.

Yes, we have entered the realm of haute horology.

The house registered its Calatrava cross logo in 1887. The Calatrava would later become one of the brand’s celebrated collections and even a design template for other brands.

Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin form what is lovingly referred to as the Holy trinity of watchmaking. Three houses that specialized in haute horology, pushing the boundaries of mechanical watchmaking, decoration and finishing techniques.

Much like Rolex and Omega rule the everyday-watch category, the Holy trinity rules haute horology. A sentiment reflected in Patek’s motto since 1996: You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.
