While the watchmaking world focused on mechanical precision in 1970, Corum looked to nature. The brand introduced the legendary Feather watch, a bold fusion of haute joaillerie and fine watchmaking. This specific Ref. 8200 is a sublime example of that; Not a wristwatch, but an elegant pendant (hanging watch), crafted in radiant 18k white gold and worn on a matching white gold necklace.

What makes this piece truly unique is the dial. No gemstones or enamel have been used here, but real bird feathers. The expertise required for this borders on the incredible:

Selection: Each feather (mostly from the peacock or jay) is manually selected for color, texture, and luster.

Preparation: The feathers are steam-cleaned and cut with surgical precision.
