The Rolex Day-Date has been the flagship model of Rolex since it’s introduction in 1956. This model was worn by many presidents and influential people in history which has determined the success of this iconic Rolex model. The Day-Date was only built with exclusive materials, 18k gold, white gold and later platinum became an option too. Its overall design is close to a stainless steel Datejusts, but there’s a tell by which people can recognise a Rolex Day-Date is the presidential bracelet. A beautiful bracelet three links wide with rounded links and a glossy finish on the middle links. We got this piece without its original bracelet and we gave it a stylish leather strap to finish its classy look. This 18k watch is a flagship gone under the radar.

There is more than enough reason to pick this watch over any Datejust though. The name of this watch gives one reason away already. This watch has an automatic Day and Date disc in its movement so not only your date but your days are always just too. On the 6 and 9 o’clock index you’ll find a doorstep index which is another nice detail which was optional at the time. Apart from the majestic and precious material of the watch, you’ll also be wearing a Rolex known to be worn by presidents…
