That is strikingly for the Omega Seamaster 600 Ploprof, not an Adonis but a functional divers watch, that could be trusted to do what it was supposed to do. It was the Plongeur Professionnel, the PloProf—the Professional Diver.
We love this ‘different’ diver and bought it from a collector who loved it for many many years. He had not only this one but had bought a few back in the days. Dated back to 1971 the year that Omega introduced this watch. Many Ploprofs ave somewhere in his existence their dial replaced, in those days fairly normal. Also, our Plof of us has a service dial, but a MKIV tritium service dial. And that makes it quite special because the previous owner has been aboard in tropical environments. Take a closer look at the dial and you see traces of Mexico, Aruba, etc. Diving was his great love.
So looking for a watch that has a story and is different…. this is your holy grail!
