Wie had gedacht dat Cartier zo groot zou worden. Zou Louis dat ook gedacht hebben toen hij zijn eerste Tank op de markt bracht in 1917. Het wereldberoemde merk is in eerste instantie bekend geworden om hun befaamde sieradenontwerpen. Exclusief, hoogstaande kwaliteit en uitbundig ontwerpen zijn de kenmerken. Ook op de horlogemarkt hebben zij hun naam gevestigd door hun verschillende modellen, die allemaal een overeenkomst hebben, elegantie.
Zo ook het horloge wat wij u hier laten zien. Een prachtig in 18k geelgoud uitgevoerd bijzonder vormgegeven sieraad. De naam ‘Tonneau Cintree’ zegt iets over de ‘gecurfde’ kast. Cintree betekend vrij vertaald gekromd. Op de foto ziet u dat de kast iets hol loopt zodat het prettig en mooi plat op de pols valt. De typische kenmerken zoals de Romeinse index, de geblauwde wijzers en de blauw saffier in de kroon zijn echt Cartier. Kortom een fenomenaal sieraad voor de hedendaagse vrouw.
