Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803

“1969” is the year that John Lennon and Yoko Ono kept a “love in” in the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel for 7 days.  This was also the year of birth of this Rolex Day-Date in 18k yellow gold. We fell in love on this watch in one second….!!

This Rolex Day-Date reference 1803 has a beautiful champagne colored dial with wide markers and hands, so-called the “Wide Boy”. This dial configuration was only being made for a couple of years. So you will see this watch not quite often. This example is a really nice looking reference 1803. This caliber is the non-quick set version.  We offer this watch on a vintage leather strap, but there is always the possibility to choose another leather strap of your choice.
