Rolex Datejust Ref. 16233 “Pied de Poule”
While there are countless variations in dials within the Rolex Datejust universe, some are far rarer than others. This one sits right at that super-rare end of the spectrum.
What we see here is a Pied de Poule or Houndstooth dial. The typical pattern often found in fashionable fabrics, executed in silver and gold. The entire dial is a little more reflective than most other Datejust dials. This gives this 1991 Datejust a really mesmerizing shine in the sunlight.
Add to that the factory-set diamond indices and two-tone steel and 18k yellow gold case and Jubilee bracelet, and you have a real showstopper.
