Google is a wonderful thing. It brings knowledge into our home while sitting comfortably on our sofa. If one of our children asks us a question we do not know, we say: ‘Google it’. But is everything we read true? And what if you get multiple answers, all a little bit different. What is the right answer? That’s what you come across if you google this Speedmaster reference. Production time? Some say 3 years, some say a little longer. But what they all say, it is not just your everyday Speedmaster.

We agree! It is rare, unusual, and not easy to come by. We have it! This Pro is in near mint condition, not worn much. In the 1980s, it was glitz and glam all around, gold and steel was the perfect combination in that decade. (we think in every decade by the way). So Omega produced the Speedmaster in a gold/steel combination and used a gilt dial and silvered subdials. The caliber 861 movement has copper finishing, used by Omega from 1968 till 1997 in different executions.

The production number of DD145.0022 is not high but also not limited, the models are not numbered. But they are hard to find in the watchworld nowadays, in the condition we have it.
