Reverso, ’ik draai mij om’ is de nederlandse vertaling vanuit het Latijn.Jaeger Lecoultre heeft zoals alle befaamde horlogemerken een rijke historie. De uitvinder Charles Antoine-Lecoultre heeft ten grondslag gelegen van het wereldmerk. Hij stond bekend om zijn precisie, perfectie, orginaliteit en uitvoerbaarheid. Deze eigenschappen zien we terug in de ontwerpen en de manufactuur uurwerken van dit wereldmerk. Wist u dat zij inmiddels 350 gepatenteerd uitvindingen hebben. Elk van deze innovaties zijn van groot belang geweest in het radicaal vormgeven en het accentueren van een definitieve routekaart voor de Zwitserse horloge-geschiedenis, met inbegrip van innovaties met betrekking tot de wijzerplaten, armbanden en uurwerken.
Het horloge wat wij u hier tonen is een van de klassiekers van Jaeger Lecoultre. Het originele ontwerp komt voort uit de Art-deco beweging begin jaren 30. Dit juweel heeft een stalen kast en zilverkleurige wijzerplaat. Voorzien van een quartz uurwerk en ‘kekke’ band uit onze eigen collectie, die gesloten word met een stalen originele vouwsluiting.
