De nieuwste creatie van Dornblüth grijpt terug op een oud fenomeen uit de zakhorloges omstreeks 1910; het Maltezer kruis. In het kort betekent dit dat er een vrijwel gelijkmatige veerspanning beschikbaar is tijdens de afwinding van de veer. Normaliter zijn de eerste en de laatste windingen anders in kracht/sterkte waardoor er een minder gelijkmatige nauwkeurigheid behaald wordt. Dirk heeft ervoor gezorgd dat de laatste winding niet gedaan kan worden doordat het simpelweg op tijd geblokkeerd wordt. Door de in serie gemonteerde dubbele veerton heeft het een gangreserve van 52 uur. Het echappement is ook anders uitgevoerd. Er zit namelijk een kortere ankerheffing op een lager gemonteerd ankerrad in. Dit resulteert in een nog mooiere loop van het uurwerk. Zoals u gewend bent van dit kleine Duitse merk is het natuurlijk grotendeels met de hand vervaardigd. Bovendien zijn vrijwel alle onderdelen van het uurwerk in eigen huis ontwikkeld en ontworpen: al met al een indrukwekkende prestatie voor een ’merk’ dat bestaat uit een team van 5 man sterk, de naamgever incluis!
Dit model hebben wij op zicht. Houdt u rekening met een levertijd van circa 8-9 maanden.
