Omega’s flagship model in stainless steel and full glory.
The Omega Constellation was introduced in 1952 and was named after the famous constellation jet that was used during World War II. From the beginning on the Omega Constellation became the flagship model, a symbol for watch manufacturing perfection. Available in stainless steel, yellow gold and rose gold this watch fitted different types of people. The stainless steel piece we’re offering is the most sporty and definitely the most desirable of the three. This watch still looks good on any wrist every day of the week.
In 1955 the Constellation got its first automatic movement and in the years that followed Omega quickly updated the movements in order to keep this watch the flagship and the best they could offer. Despite the upgrades on the movement, the outside changed very little throughout the years making this such a nice timeless piece.
This stainless steel version with the slim round case and angular lugs fits perfect on the wrist. The size of this watch is perfect, in the 50s and 60s the size for dress watches was about 34mm. just like this one. In the 21st century, people may think this is quite small or a women’s size, but you’ll be amazed when putting this on your wrist. The stunning pie-pan dial gives this watch more dimension and makes it easily legible. The original Omega bracelet is like new and gives this watch a solid appearance, once you put this watch on your wrist you’ll realise this design is exactly right for either man or women.
